Who We Are at ExhibitQuest...
Mark Boulding
President and Founder
Mark attended the University of Colorado, Boulder where he received his BFA in 1971 and MFA in 1973.
Recognized for his creativity, he was awarded a Western States Arts Foundation fellowship in 1973, a one-man
show at the Denver Art Museum in 1974 and a National Endowment for the Arts individual artist grant in 1975.
Mark taught Art and Design at Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana until 1977 when he began working for
Design Dynamics/Exhibits, a custom trade show exhibit builder in Denver. He learned the business in production,
sales and executive management during his 15 years with the company. At the same time he managed to keep his art
career in the mainstream, exhibiting in local galleries and national shows while raising a family.
Service has been central to Mark's life. He has belonged to the Business Marketing Association (BMA) since the 1980's.
As a member of the BMA board of directors, he helped found the student chapter and scholarship program. On the Boulder
Arts Commission, he helped to start an art-in-public-places program and was a founding member of the Boulder Arts Foundation.
For the CU Fine Arts Advisory Board, Mark spearheaded efforts for a new Department of Fine Arts building. Since 1985,
Mark has been a member of the Denver Rotary Club, actively participating in the Artists of America fund raiser,
the Branch Rickey Awards and the Scholarships program for high school graduates entering trade schools.
Mark is a long time sailing enthusiast. As past Commodore of the Colorado Sail and Yacht Club, he was instrumental
in helping to organize regattas like the Leukemia Cup Regatta, for a good cause, and the Columbus Day regatta,
just for fun. He rarely misses a Wednesday night race and is always in the trophy hunt.
Mark Boulding's experience as an artist, educator, marketer, volunteer and sailor informs his collaborative vision
and entrepreneurial spirit, in which service is a central value.

and information technology.
As if total dedication to our clients' exhibit needs is not enough, Valerie is also an avid volunteer, providing
much of her time to organizations such as the American Cancer Society. She enjoys the outdoors and when she is not
immersed in a good book, spends her time walking and hiking.
Valerie's inner tranquility and deep sense of responsibility have become the cornerstone of ExhibitQuest.
