Our History in Custom Modular Exhibiting
ExhibitQuest, Inc., a Colorado Corporation, was founded by Mark Boulding in 1992. The name and trademark
of the revolutionary trade show exhibit component manufacturer, Exponents, Inc. of San Diego, California,
was licensed the same year.
Introducing a New Business Model
Doing business as Exponents Denver, Inc., we were one of a handful of independently-owned, dedicated Exponents
distributors. We forged a new business model that integrated the concept of a full-service trade show display
company with outsourcing to an exclusive manufacturer and a select complement of wholesalers. This enabled us
to provide our customers a cost-competitive package of exhibit design services.
Pioneering Custom Modular Exhibits
The concept of custom modular trade show exhibits pioneered by Exponents drove high growth in the trade show
exhibits industry for the next decade. The custom modular approach resonated with exhibitors who were attracted
to the contemporary classic nature of the exhibit designs and the scalability of the component architecture to fit
a broad range of physical spaces and experiential marketing needs.
Renaming Our Path of Growth
In 1999 we adopted the name and trademark ExhibitQuest, Inc. to reflect our path of growth. Based on our core
expertise in developing unique design statements, we have increasingly diversified our capabilities through
ever-growing partnerships with innovative modular exhibit fabricators and component suppliers.
Our collaborative efforts with our preferred partners have resulted in product improvements and patents for the
next generation of trade show display technology.
